This is a classic harpsichord with a double keyboard. The keyboards are a standard French Shove Coupler arrangement. My father and I built this harpsichord (from a kit) in 1979. It “lived” in New Jersey for years and it was moved to California about 5 years ago.

This is a quality instrument in fair condition. The harpsichord is being sold "As Is". The soundboard is spruce. There is a crack in the soundboard outside the bridge and strings. One key is missing its ivory. It has not been tuned recently. The harpsichord is painted navy blue on the outside, reddish-orange under the lid.
I have some of the plans and drawings, as well as some extra jacks.

This is a unique instrument and with a little tuning will again play beautifully. It is an excellent "starter" instrument.
